We have set up this website mainly to serve as an ARTISTS COMMUNITY facility to help less fortunate artists from Zimbabwe , South Africa and other African countries . the idea is to help the artists get a point of sale for their art and sculptures . Most Zimbabwe artists rely purely on local sales this website is here for them to get a market out of the country.
As the owner of the website I am a Zimbabwean by birth and grew up in South Africa and Zimbabwe, lived in Zimbabwe for many years before moving to Wales.

How the web site works for the artists . each artists registers, fills in the about info required, up load the works, we vet and edit details, we only add on a small commission , the artists suggest prices and commission is added onto this, so the artists receives 100 % of their asking price. The commissions are used to pay for the admin and maintenance of the website.
When you see a particular work of art you like, you add it to your basket and it will be reserved for you. In most cases the stock is not held by us here in Uk but with the artists where they are, The idea of this is to help reduce transport and try be as eco friendly as possible. But in some cases stock may already be held here in the UK .
When you reserve a work of art, we communicate to arrange courier, we do not mark down the shipping costs at point of sale and this is purely due to the sizes of paintings , customs regulations in some countries, we get a price for you and add this to your check out, once this has been completed we email you and you complete the purchase . Shipping will be sent with in 3 to 4 working days from time of check out , so please allow for these delays , as in some cases the artists live in very remote rural areas and don’t always have transport, Most cases though the courier companies will do pick up from rural location drop off points. We hope that you appreciate that Zimbabwe is a large country with very remote villages and not very good transport infrastructure , so we need to allow for any delays in shipping.
when you pay for your work of art . In most cases shipping is included in the price. Unless otherwise stated in the description of the particular work. We then liase with the artists to drop off at the designated shipping agen. Sometimes this can take a few days simply due to the rural nature of Zimbabwe. Also communication is sometimes very patchy or not reliable. Sorry can’t fix this problem. Some artists are very remote rural locations and difficult transport. Please bear in mind. Once the works are received at the shipping agent communication is sent to you and to us. Shipping normally takes about 7 working days. If not a bit longer. Remember when doing check out shipping is included unless stated.
